San Saba’s First Baptist Church is excited to partner with Arabic Church of Milwaukee and Pastor Issa Safadi in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pastor Issa is planting an Arabic Church with the goal of reaching the Muslim population of Milwaukee with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
You and your family are invited to come alongside Pastor Issa and help with outreach into the Milwaukee Muslim community by joining other SSFBC families on our 2022 Family Mission Trip. This will be a very family-oriented mission trip with children of all ages welcome to come with their parents. Of course, singles, couples, retirees, and anyone else is welcome as well!
ITINERARY:
June 21 (Tues.) : Arrive in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
June 22 (Wed.) : Orientation & mosque tour
June 23-26 (Thurs.-Sun.) : Missions activities
June 27 (Mon.) : Depart for home
MISSION ACTIVITIES
Mission activities for Thursday through Sunday will include: block party at a park (face painting, games, engaging with people, etc.), Burmese celebration (meal and engaging people), Arab church service on Saturday at Layton Avenue Baptist Church.
TRAINING
6 one-hour Momentum training sessions will be held for those going on the mission trip Sunday evenings beginning April 24 and going through May 29. This training will include specific information about working with Muslims.
TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
Each family or individual will need to make their own travel arrangements whether driving or flying. The closest major airport is Mitchell Airport in Milwaukee (MKE).
ACCOMMODATIONS
All accommodations will be in hotels. Specific details coming soon!

Come to an informational luncheon Sunday, March 27, following the Worship Service. Pastor Issa will be at SSFBC to discuss his work and the mission trip.

Pray for the Lord to be working in the hearts of those that you will be sharing the gospel with on this trip.
